Fiona and Nick got married on a warm May afternoon at Luxmore Grande Estate in Winter Springs, Florida, and the day felt joyful and genuine from start to finish. They had a grand staircase first look, an all-white garden ceremony, and a reception where the dance floor stayed packed until the very last song. As an Orlando wedding photographer who has had the privilege of documenting many celebrations at this estate, Fiona and Nick’s day stood out because of how connected they were from beginning to end.
Fiona found me from a past Luxmore wedding I’d shared on Instagram, and she reached out knowing she wanted a similar timeless, romantic feel captured for their day. As soon as they booked with me, my goal was to create an experience that felt calm, intentional, and fully centered around them. I stayed in close communication throughout the planning process, took time to learn what mattered most to them, and worked alongside their planner to ensure the day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. I could tell Fiona and Nick had a clear and beautiful vision for their wedding—one that just needed the right setting and the right team behind it. They found both at Luxmore Grande Estate. One of the things I loved most about working with Fiona and Nick was how comfortable they were simply being together. My goal throughout the entire process was to create space for them to stay present, enjoy their people, and experience their wedding day without feeling like they were constantly being pulled away for photos.
Luxmore Grande Estate has earned its reputation as one of the most beautiful Central Florida mansion wedding venues. Originally built in 2001 as a private residence, the estate was converted into an event venue in 2014—and it still feels like a private home in many ways. Featuring Southern-inspired architecture, white columns, and grand chandeliers, it has a warmth that never tips into stiff or formal.
Fiona was drawn to timeless, classic design, and the Luxmore reflects that from every angle. The estate offers a Grande Ballroom that accommodates up to 160 guests, two VIP getting-ready suites, and both indoor and outdoor ceremony and cocktail spaces. Couples have exclusive access on their wedding day—no other events running alongside yours, no shared spaces. That privacy shapes the entire experience.
If you’re researching Florida wedding venues and want a deeper look at how the Luxmore compares to other mansion locations in the area, I’ve covered it in this roundup of the best Central Florida estate wedding venues.
What sets the Luxmore apart from most Florida wedding venues is how much character exists inside the estate. Rather than one neutral ballroom, the property has several distinct rooms—each with its own personality, its own light, and its own feel.
The bright white parlor is anchored by a carved historic fireplace and a crystal chandelier overhead. It’s soft, elegant, and consistently flattering for portraits at any point in the day. The library reads completely differently—rich wood tones, layered textures, a more editorial quality that contrasts beautifully against a white gown. The iconic red floral wallpaper in the groom’s suite brings bold personality and warmth, ideal for when you want photos with a little more drama. And the grand staircase, with its sweeping architectural lines, is one of the most naturally beautiful first look locations in Central Florida—no extra styling needed.

The estate grounds offer a different kind of variety—open, architectural, and well-suited to Florida’s natural light when the timing is right. The white-column façade is the defining exterior feature: grand without being cold, classic without being stiff. The circular fountain adds a formal focal point for portraits, while the manicured lawn gives couples room to move and the veil room to breathe.
The brick terrace sits between the indoor and outdoor worlds, offering a textured backdrop and a more intimate feel than the open lawn. For ceremonies, the lawn accommodates a full guest count with a clear sightline to the altar and a lush garden tree line as the backdrop. It’s a strong ceremony location year-round, with the estate’s covered indoor spaces available as a weather backup that never feels like a compromise.

The Luxmore’s Grande Ballroom is bright, neutral, and versatile in a way that can serve couples envisioning any design direction. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the space, flooding it with natural light through cocktail hour and into the early reception. As the evening shifts, the chandeliers take over—warm, layered light that makes every detail on the tablescape read clearly in photos.
The neutral palette means any wedding color scheme works here. Soft ivory and white florals like Fiona and Nick’s feel timeless and airy. Richer, more saturated palettes read with depth and contrast. Dramatic lighting and draping anchor beautifully against the white walls without competing. The ballroom accommodates up to 160 guests and includes a dance floor that, in my experience, tends to fill up and stay that way.

What makes the Luxmore Grande Estate photograph so beautifully? The short answer is variety and light. Most venues offer one or two strong portrait locations. The Luxmore gives you an entire property’s worth—and each space feels genuinely different. Having this many different settings means no two sections of a gallery look alike. Couples move through the estate throughout the day and come away with a collection that feels layered and intentional, not repetitive.
The large windows throughout the estate create soft, directional natural light across nearly every interior space, which means portraits taken at 10am in the parlor and portraits taken at 3pm in the library can both look intentional and flattering without any additional equipment. Outside, the covered portico and column-lined façade create open shade that softens Florida’s afternoon sun without losing the brightness that makes outdoor portraits feel alive. As beautiful as the property is, my favorite part is what it allows couples to feel. Because there are so many thoughtfully designed spaces throughout the estate, portrait time never feels rushed. Couples can stay connected to each other, settle into the moment, and enjoy the experience rather than feeling like they’re moving through a checklist.
For couples who feel nervous in front of the camera, this kind of environment helps. Moving through spaces that feel beautiful and considered—rather than staged or unfamiliar—makes it easier to relax. By the time we’ve worked through two or three rooms, most couples have forgotten they’re being photographed at all. That’s when some of my favorite images come to life!
Fiona spent her morning in the bridal suite alongside her mom and sister. She wore a classic ivory strapless gown, her cathedral veil trailing across the dark hardwood floors, chandelier light overhead catching every detail as she got her final touches done. Nick got ready in the groom’s suite—the room with the red floral wallpaper—giving his getting-ready coverage a rich, editorial quality that balances perfectly against Fiona’s soft, airy portraits. The contrast between the two suites is one of the things I love most about this venue. Two completely different rooms, two completely different feels, and a gallery that reflects both of them equally.
Because I was so involved in Fiona and Nick’s planning and we’d done an engagement session together before the wedding day, the morning already had a relaxed energy. Together, we had carefully planned their timeline, family portraits, and meaningful moments so they had space to truly be present with each other throughout the day. They felt comfortable, connected, and fully trusting of the process, which allowed their personalities and relationship to naturally shine through in every moment we captured on wedding day.

Their first look happened on the grand staircase, greenery and soft candlelight accents surrounding them as Nick turned to see Fiona for the first time. It was quiet and emotional—the kind of moment that needs very little direction because it unfolds on its own. From there, we moved through the estate’s interior spaces with intention. Fiona’s bridal portraits in the white parlor felt regal without being stiff. The library gave us something richer. The red wallpaper in the groom’s suite brought the bridal party portraits to life with personality and depth.

The outdoor ceremony took place on Luxmore’s lawn beneath a stunning white floral meadow installation. Mahogany garden chairs lined the brick pathway aisle, each tied with long white ribbon. Guests held custom hand fans, a practical and polished touch for a sunny Florida afternoon. The vibrant greens of the lawn naturally played against the white wedding details for that perfect spring feel.

After the ceremony, we moved through the outdoor grounds, and the estate’s exterior kept the portrait flow smooth and unhurried. Nick has that calm, grounded energy that makes portrait time easy, and Fiona’s laugh makes every frame feel genuine rather than posed. We captured portraits with stone, brick, and greenery all within a few minutes of each other—which is one of the reasons this venue really shines.

Fiona and Nick brought so many personal details to this celebration, and the reception inside the Luxmore’s ballroom was everything. The all-white sweetheart table—with the ceremony floral meadow repurposed as the evening’s focal point—was breathtaking. Instead of a traditional tiered cake, they did a bundt cake for the cutting—charming and a little unexpected. After the dance floor opened, it never really emptied again. Friends brought incredible energy from the very first song.
As the night wound down, a Kelly’s Ice Cream truck pulled up and gave everyone an excuse to head outside. Some of my favorite portraits of the evening happened right there—playful, completely candid, lit beautifully against the truck. The night closed with a bubble sendoff that felt like exactly the right ending for a day that had been so genuine from start to finish.

Luxmore Grande Estate is a classic, Southern-inspired wedding venue with white columns, a grand staircase, crystal chandeliers, and a neutral interior palette that works with virtually any design direction. Individual rooms each carry their own personality—from the soft white parlor with a carved fireplace to the bold red floral wallpaper groom’s suite to the warmly paneled library. That variety is part of what makes Luxmore Grande Estate photos so special.
The Grande Ballroom accommodates up to 160 guests for a full wedding.
Yes—the venue also offers intimate minimony or micro wedding packages for up to 30 guests, available on weekdays and select summer weekends—a beautiful option for couples who want the estate experience in a more personal setting. If you’re considering a smaller celebration or intimate ceremony, you can work with me as your Florida elopement photographer.
Luxmore Grande Estate is one of the most photogenic estate wedding venues in Central Florida. Large windows create soft, consistent natural light throughout the day. Multiple interior rooms—each with distinct character—give couples portrait variety without ever leaving the property. The exterior offers grand columns, a circular fountain, and a manicured lawn. And the ballroom’s floor-to-ceiling windows and chandeliers make for beautiful reception coverage from first dance through sendoff.
Investment details aren’t public, but you can inquire with the Luxmore to find out more. Wedding packages include tables, chairs, and linens along with additional venue amenities. If you choose a full wedding, the estate is exclusively yours—no other events share the property.
The estate photographs well year-round. Fall and spring offer the most comfortable outdoor temperatures for ceremonies and portraits. Fiona and Nick got married in May, and the estate’s elegant interior portrait spaces and naturally lit ballroom kept everything feeling airy and romantic even on a warm Florida day.

Fiona and Nick’s celebration was timeless, warm, and completely genuine—exactly the kind of day that Luxmore Grande Estate was made for. Every room told part of their story. Every outdoor space added something to the gallery. And the people they surrounded themselves with made the whole celebration feel alive. I believe the best wedding photographs come from couples who feel comfortable, supported, and fully present in the experience. That’s why I approach every Luxmore wedding with intentional guidance, thoughtful planning, and a calm presence so you can focus on what matters most while I document it all as it naturally unfolds.
