Their Love Story

Mat and Ellen met when they were in elementary school. Their teacher liked to pit them against each other in class competitions. Even though did not exactly like each other back then they continued to keep in touch through the years and in eighth grade, their growing friendship turned into much more. Mat became Ellen’s best friend and go-to person.
They started a relationship when they were 14 and, being so young, their relationship went through plenty of ups and downs. However, their relationship really flourished in 2016. Mat proved to be the best boyfriend. They got engaged in March 2020, right before the world shut down due to the pandemic.
Unable to wait any longer for the world to open back up, they had their court wedding in February 2021. Mat became Ellen’s husband. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the opportunity to celebrate with their family due to travel restrictions. They decided to have a Catholic wedding to celebrate with everyone, considering it a lucky chance to marry their best friend twice. They were fortunate to have Jenn capture their special day of love.
